Just me again! So you guys don't think I've forgotten this place lol. I haven't, let me tell you. Sadly though why are there always obstacles to get things up here? T_T I guess this is the year of looking at my life and improving it, or something? Do people do that at 18? Not sure lmao.
As the title states, right now we are de-cluttering the house. Yyeeeeep, that's right, de-cluttering D: For those that know my family and I, this is a big thing....and a long project to do. We've been doing it since July, actually. Only right now has it gotten intense and overwhelming for my mum and I. There's just so much >< See, my family (yes, including me) are PACKRATS. Yes, packrats...we save things we barely use. I know I do that, but my parents are a wee bit worse then I am.

So we've been going from the basement to the upstairs, and vise versa. Besides Folkarama last week (a winnipeg culture appreciation 2 week thing, very cool and people should check it out next year!), and working...this is what we've bee doing. Very tiresome, since the house jsut seems to keep getting messier.
I am proud though that we got rid of a few things in the kitchen, and now have more space. So now we're going through all the boxes that we stuck in the living-room, and other such things, and slowly but surely we're making space and storing things better.
The only thing is, we need my brother home to help us. He's in Quebec, and won't be back until next week. He's been gone since..May, I think? So we can't just go through what's his and throw away stuff, even if it's old stuff.

I think the big wake-up call was last week, when our Sump Pump (or something like that, it takes the rain water away so we don't get flooded or something) wasn't working. (Apparently my dad suspected for a while ~_~ Thanks, dad). So we started getting water in our basement. If I didn't walk downstairs to put my hot glue guns away and noticed the big wet spots on the rugs, not only around dad's desk but a little in my room too, then I'm sure it would have been way worse. See, in the other hallway where we have a fridge and downstairs freezer (in a storage room for all the christmas decorations n more stuff), we already have quite some water. Not deep, but still, it's not good to have water puddling in your basement, right? So that was an emergency thing we had to take care of that day, and put more of the basement in chaos. Very fun times, look at what you're missing all this summer brother

So yeah, my "studio" is a complete mess when I was trying to clean it up and organize it, and looks like I can't get much done there for a while.
Good news though, I have drawn a couple things in my sketchbook, and I want to colour them. Maybe when this clean up is finished ~_~ Urgh...
Well, I'm ordering some Artbooks so that makes me happy :3 They're Rayearth ones and very hard to find. I'm hoping I win the bids *crosses fingers* Also I'm buying the Valkyrie Profile one, and still considering the Sukisho one too, but we'll see. I worked a lot of hours the past two weeks, picked up a couple shifts, and most of them have been 6-7 hour ones...then there was the holiday where I got time and a half >3< I was very happy for my paycheck. Let's hope I don't blow it all so soon ne? XP I still have to mail a few things out too, but that might have to wait.

I had wanted to reply to some notes, facebook messages and e-mails today, but I'm too tired, I'll try tomorrow. I'm sorry ;_; This house cleaning is taking a while and is a slow process.

Well, I have to get to bed, have work tomorrow morning! And then coming home to clean, etc, then work the other two days too. Then it's to Morden for the weekend for the Corn and Apple Festival with , I'm staying at his place We're gonna have fun and....eat lots of corn LOL! XDD
