News
- Another journal update, YYYAAYYY! *Can just HEAR the excitement in the non existent crowd* Yeah, I dunno why I'm making another journal, just feel like it I guess.
- Work is...well, has been frustrating the past few weeks. I understand many work places have their ups and downs...but man...have I really been wanting to go back to being a Tender >_<;; This Quality Control stuff is just..getting to be too much. I haven't lost sleep or gotten sick or anything yet, but if every week is gonna be like the few that have past then..yeah.
- I am NOT happy for this weekend. Not one bit. I'm REQUIRED to go to work, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Two days worth, possibly 8 hours each. Overtime..WITHOUT PAY *screams* I HATE being on Salary!! I, REALLY, DO! URGH!!! It's just..not fair! The whole plant has to come in to do some stupid ^&$#$%#@$#@$^% and stuff, but at least THEY get time and a half for it. What do I get? NOTHING! Nothing fucking at all. I can't complain about it either, cuz I took this position and I'd get yelled at for pretty much "not being happy to do this as part of the job" sort of thing.
- I'm SORRY, I mean, I don't mind working some overtime every now and then..I know it's sometimes required..but TWO DAYS?? COME ON MAN! I STILL WANT SOME FORM OF A LIFE!! I do NOT want to have to worry about work outside of work..I just want to come in, do my job, and go home. That's it. This place isn't gonna be my career path for the rest of my life, so I don't want to lose two years of some little joys because of it. I can deal with a few hours overtime without pay...fine, fine. As long as I still got my weekend and it doesn't happen very often. But nnoooo
- As well, because of some other crap, I;m stuck on EVENING shifts until further notice. THAT WAS NOT IN MY JOB AGREEMENT!! *Fumes* They even made sure I was okay with SHIFT WORK -BEFORE- hiring me!! Now I'm frickin stuck on the 3:30 to 11:30 shift...for who knows how many weeks. The only good side about this shift is that I can stay up late and sleep in...but I really don't mind having day shifts bi-weekly like we were agreeing on.
- I'm not the only happy one, I mean, some of these people have kids and families to look after, or can ONLY spend lots of time with them on the weekends. The place is going down the pipe for employee treatment I guess....
- Sorry for the little rant everyone..I'm just very frustrated. Things kept going wrong one thing after the other at work, and then this just HAS to come up. They're almost forcing everyone to come in...isn't that almost against the law? *doesn't really know*
- On the bright side, I managed to clean my studio last weekend! COMEPLTE YAY!!! :3 You can even see THE FLOOR!!! WHOO! *dances* I changed my webcam pic on my page to show some of it, mostly the area that I work. There's things on the other walls in the room, but I figure if anyone liked to see a picture of my little basement room "studio" those would be the best spots. I have more on my facebook page, maybe if people want I can show them on here? *not sure if anyone really cares or is interested*
- So now that it's clean...I can get started on some artwork and sewing projects I hope. So much to doo >_< I wish I'd get crackin down to finish so much of it...mer. Let's cross our fingers shall we?
- My bedroom still needs a major cleaning..I was hoping to do that this weekend, (but because of what I stated above, that'll be difficult to concentrate or find incentive when I'll be drained). Hopefully I can start more next week *sighs*
- Anyways...that's pretty much it for another update. Me and working XD oh dear...Grim will have to make me laugh and smile saturday night cuz I think we'll both need it.
